The St Francis of Assissi Church lies between the Clementinum and Charles Bridge. Its impressive dome dominates the skyline here. The present day church was built in the Baroque style in 1600s replacing an earlier Gothic church built in the 1200s. The marble interior of the church is impressive as is its walls and ceilings that are decorated with frescos.
